The 10 Day Mental Diet Challenge – Day 8

I’ve survived day 8 of the mental diet challenge.

Though I still have concerns about just exactly how much attention I’m paying to my mind states, I did not experience any times where I dwelt in the negative.

Overall, I had quite a bit of positive today! I was able to meet with one of my employees and have a good one on one. We identified where he feels a bit disengaged from his work, and determined some things we could do to increase engagement.

I’ve also found a great new motivational video that has got me pretty fired up.

The fires are burning again. As they have in the past. Now I need to move into action. The motivation isn’t enough. As Tony Robbins says,

“What you know doesn’t mean shit. It’s what you do consistently.”
